Time commitments vary depending on the volunteer role and specific project. Most opportunities require 5-6 hours per month, while others may be more intensive. We strive to accommodate volunteers' schedules and preferences as much as possible.
Our Volunteer Coordinator will review applications and match volunteers with available opportunities based on their skills, interests, and availability. We will also conduct interviews or additional assessments as needed.
Our process is very efficient with it taking between 2-4 weeks from the time that you apply to be appointed to your volunteer role. If you need to start volunteering at a later date, that's fine, just indicate that in your application.
Yes, most of our volunteer opportunities are remote roles to assist us in providing flexibility to accommodate volunteers' preferences and circumstances. That said, we pride ourselves in creating a volunteer team culture that keeps us all connected and as we support our mission.

Board role positions are appointed for renewable one-year terms, ensuring continuity and stability in governance. Other roles span a duration of one year, with the flexibility for renewal tailored to the individual's commitment and organizational needs.
